This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use pluck., why we process it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
pluck. is an image-first discovery catalog for clothing, shoes, and bags. We surface products and link out to third-party purchasing agents. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are available on the Imprint page.
2. What data we process
We process technical data needed to operate the site (such as your IP address, country and device category), data you provide voluntarily (such as wishlist selections stored in your browser), and first-party usage events such as page views and outbound-agent clicks. We do not sell your personal data or use third-party advertising pixels.
3. Cookies and consent
We use first-party cookies for language, currency, preferred shopping agent, session continuity, referral attribution, and a random visitor identifier used to calculate aggregate UV/PV statistics. Wishlist and onboarding choices may be stored locally in your browser. We do not currently load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising cookies, so the site does not show a recurring consent banner.
4. Legal bases
We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, on legitimate interests for limited first-party audience measurement and referral reporting, and on legal obligations where applicable. pluck. links to independent purchasing agents and platforms. When you follow such a link, the destination operates under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control.
7. Retention
Visitor-level usage events are retained for up to 180 days for operational reporting and abuse investigation. Aggregated daily statistics that no longer identify an individual visitor may be kept for longer to understand site performance over time.
This site is a product discovery and navigation tool. We do not directly sell products, collect payment, or ship orders — all purchases are completed through third-party agent platforms. This site is not affiliated with Weidian, Taobao, 1688, or any agent platform.
